World Dog Show 2007: Going back to my roots

Argentina’s top-ranking Dogo for 2006 "Toba I von Grossermund" owned by Ariel Muñiz from Cordoba, Argentina is this year’s World Winner. In a competition of a total of 27 Dogos at the World Dog Show held in Mexico on Sunday May 27th, Toba was announced Best of Breed by judge Kari Jarvinen. Toba is the first world winning Dogo bred in the region of Cordoba, the homeland of the breed. He was also the Best of Breed under judge Hans Mueller from Switzerland at the parallel show which took place at the same area on May 24th. At the other parallel show held on May 25th under the judge Carlos Navarro from Mexico, the winner "Toto Bravoure Blanche" came out of the junior class. At the Latin American and Caribe Championship, held on May 26th, the winner judged by mrs. Carla Molinari from Portugal was "Azahar de Argentum". The Best in Show at the World Dog Show went to the Miniature Poodle "Smash JP Talkabout" owned by Mamoro Oyama from Japan.
